WHO WE ARE
Our stud, formerly known as Loch Lomond Border Leicesters, is located in the North West region of New South Wales, Australia. With a rich history and years of experience breeding quality sheep, we are proud to offer some of the finest Border Leicester genetics in the country.
One of our key strengths is our commitment to constantly improving the quality of our flock. In 2022, we purchased quality sires from Bindaree and Nundoone Studs to ensure we continue producing top-performing sheep.

As a member of Sheep Genetics Australia, we are dedicated to using the latest technology and genetic analysis to enhance our breeding program. We strive to produce sheep that are not only healthy and productive but also meet the needs of our customers.

FXM Border Leicesters take the health of our flock very seriously. Dr Jillian Kelly from Animal Health & Nutrition Consulting helps us to keep our sheep in tip top shape with the latest and greatest information and technologies on hand. All of our sheep are vaccinated with 6 in 1 and are routinely inspected and drenched accordingly for optimal health and production.

All our ewes are scanned and culled accordingly to ensure we are breeding the best possible sheep. We cull heavily to ensure that only the best breeding stock is retained.
As a member of the Australian Stud Sheep Breeders Association, our flock number 4882, is a proud testament to our commitment to breeding exceptional quality sheep.

We are a Brucellosis accredited free flock with a certificate number of 80922. This accreditation is a reflection of our dedication to maintaining high animal health standards and providing our customers with healthy and disease-free livestock.

Our membership in LAMBPLAN, coupled with our subscription to Sheep Genetics, allows us to stay up-to-date on the latest research and technology related to sheep breeding. This knowledge and expertise are put to use in producing top-notch genetics and high-quality sheep that meet the needs of our customers.
